Fastenal – Raingear and Hard Hat Wire Displays Case Study

Challenge – Fastenal, one of the largest industrial supply companies in the country challenged Modernistic to create a freestanding wire display for construction hats and rain gear.   These items were previously on a shelf with low revenue.

Solution – We recommended a wire frame display and integrated graphics that would be sturdy enough to hold heavy products like rain gear and hard hats.  We produced prototypes and tested the fit with integrated double sided graphics on all sides, then tested the fit. We also created an installation instruction sheet which allowed for easy setup in stores nationwide.  The caster wheeled display and changeable graphics, allow for flexibility in different store layouts and future promotions.

Results – Fastenal was ecstatic with the final result.   The final display shipped compactly even though the overall size of the display was seven feet tall.  Now that the merchandise has a front store presence and well designed graphics, sales of rain gear and construction hats have increased significantly.
