Flat-Bed Die Cutting

Modernistic has one of the largest flat-bed die cutters in the United States. It has the capability to die cut 50” X 120” substrates. Modernistic also has an additional fleet of clam shell die cutting presses up to 66”.

This die cutting process is the most accurate that Modernistic employs. Laser cut steel rule die bases are knifed to exact standards and verified on a coordinate measurement machine. The steel rule cuts against a flat steel plate for additional precision. No soft anvil is used.
