]]> STILLWATER, MN—When every second counts and POP displays need to hit the marketplace now, point of purchase pros turn to Minnesota-based graphics company Modernistic, Inc. Its latest acquisition–the Inca Onset Q40i UV Flatbed Inkjet Printer is an ultra-high-quality flatbed printer capable of delivering high production speeds, crisp, bright, superior and quality graphics on almost any media. Modernistic’s new Q40i also runs heat bendable ink, thus allowing customers to add dimension to their displays.

The Inca Onset Q40i UV Flatbed Inkjet Printer can print images directly to sheets as large as 123.6” x 63” at a resolution of 1200×1200 dpi. It utilizes a 6-color configuration with CMYK+ light cyan and light magenta for smoother color transition in light colors and skin tones. The Q40i prints a very small droplet size (9 picoliter) jetted through 42,000 nozzles to produce ultra-crisp images, fine lines, sharp text and smooth tonal graduations.

“Two additional benefits we like are the adjustability of gloss levels with this machine and the bendability of the inks” says Modernistic’s Co-CEO, Jim Schulte. “This allows us to create more visually interesting graphics and promotions, pushing the boundaries of compelling design”.

The StencilMaster® CTS, made by Signtronic AG of Switzerland, eliminates the need for film and can plot images directly on screens as large as 142” x 150” at a resolution of 1270 dpi.

Modernistic was the first North American printer to adopt direct to screen technology back in 1997.  Installing this CTS machine continues Modernistic’s commitment to be a technology leader in large format printing.
